A Memoir on the Power of Friendships by Nina Totenberg

Wow…this one grabbed me from the first minute I listened to it. I have listened to Nina Totenberg on NPR for years, so her voice was like listening to an old friend tell a story.

She wove in so many great stories about her life and career, as well as that of Ruth Bader Ginsberg and many of the other influential people they both have interacted with over the course of their lives and careers. It felt like someone pulled back the curtains and told the “story behind the story” for so many of the newsworthy events over the past 40 years.

If you are an RBG fan, you will find plenty to love in this memoir. If you are also an NPR or Nina Totenberg fan, you’ll be delighted…but you’ll also learn so many interesting facts about other Supreme Court Justices and others your head will be spinning!
